Lord Bacon is a sweet little nine and a half year old boy who loves everyone he meets! He is dog- and kid-friendly, but we don't have information about interactions with cats. He is active and loves his walks and will chase the cover off a tennis ball at every opportunity! 

When he was brought in for vaccinations and a general checkup, the vet found he has dilated pupils and some clouding in his eyes. We took him to Eye Care for Animals and it was determined he has cataracts in both eyes (left is more advanced than right) and colobomas, which are congenital holes in the iris causing inability of the pupil to constrict in bright light. There is no treatment except to limit his time in bright sun (or wear tinted doggles to protect his eyes). All that being said, his vision is still good enough to see his ball on the fly and to grab it up out of the yard flawlessly as many times as you would like to throw it!
